The tool is designed more for oil/tire change facilities that are using them all day long as extra lifts. The frame seems sturdy and solid, but I'm by no means maxing out the weight specs either. The raising of the car can be finicky sometimes. I wish I could have assembled it, quality could be improved in places(seals for pistons, assembly torque specs, etc.). Jobs you wouldn't think about tackling(or shouldn't) are made much easier and approachable. It paid for itself within the 1st year I had it. Costco has them on sale every now and then. Frankly, the lift is way safer than jack stands and takes less time to get the vehicle set up on it. It really made installing new control arms and ball joints on our BMW much easier.
